Westside Medical Centre is open from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Please note, the clinic closes every Wednesday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm for staff and educational meetings.

Does Westside Medical Centre bulk bill appointments?

Yes. Westside Medical Centre began a bulk-billing trial in November 2025. Most standard appointments are bulk billed for Medicare and DVA card holders. Some appointment types, such as procedures, still attract a fee. Please refer to our fees page for full details.

The bulk-billing trial will be reviewed every three months throughout 2026.

What should I bring to my first appointment at Westside Medical Centre?

For your first visit to Westside Medical Centre, please bring your Medicare card and valid photo ID if you are an adult patient. If you have a health summary or any relevant medical information, feel free to bring it, our team can make copies during your appointment.

You will also need to complete our New Patient Information Form before your visit. This can be done online in advance, or you can arrive 15 minutes early to complete it in the clinic.

Yes. Westside Medical Centre offers same-day appointments for regular patients. These are best booked early in the morning through HotDoc, or by calling the clinic at 8:00am when phone lines open.
